How to Prevent "Account Integrity" Bans on Instagram

One of the most terrifying notifications a user or business owner can receive is: "Your account has been suspended for violating our Account Integrity and Authentic Identity guidelines." It happens instantly, without warning, and often to completely innocent people.

Meta's AI is highly aggressive when hunting for bot farms, fake accounts, and scrapers. If your real account shares behavioral traits with these malicious networks, the AI will pull the trigger. Fortunately, there are specific steps you can take right now to prove to the algorithm that you are a legitimate, trusted entity.

1. Link Your Instagram to a Facebook Account (Crucial Step)

This is the single most important action you can take. Meta operates an ecosystem called the Accounts Center. If your Instagram is floating around unlinked, the AI views it with suspicion. By linking it to a seasoned, active Facebook account, you instantly transfer "trust score" from Facebook to Instagram.
